1989 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series. NO RESERVE!!! Absolute dream to drive. I have owned Lincoln's since 1974 and this is, by far, the best one ever!!! I purchased this car from the niece of the 93 year old lady that purchased it new from the dealership in Decatur, AL (first registered in Athens, AL). The original window sticker price for this Lincoln Town Car was $31,660 (sticker included). NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! The car has been garage kept since new and I have receipts showing only 1200 miles driven from 1999 to 2009. The white leather with red piping interior is almost perfect. All the leather is soft and supple with no rips, cracks, or tears. The carpet looks factory new with no wear whatsoever. The paint looks new and the only damage is a very small wrinkle just forward of the drivers door (a doe, a deer, a female deer actually ran into the side of it ( I know deer are color blind...must not have seen the car???)) The paint has no chips and only a couple of door dings. I wanted to keep this beautiful car, but I do not have enough room in my garage to keep it and I refuse to leave this car outside in the weather. Since the car was stored for the last 10 years, I upgraded the throttle valve assembly with the bronze bushing and had the transmission professionally remanufactured by a local transmission expert. I would not allow him to replace this transmission with a replacement with unknown mileage. Receipts provided with purchase. I replaced all the hoses and belts with new and converted the AC system to R134. The AC blows cold and comfortable. I also replaced the radio with a factory new, correct version for this model. Since the car was provided with factory Premium Wheels, I purchased another premium wheel and mounted it for the spare in the trunk. Original spare wheel included. Everything works. When I say this car is near perfect, I say that because there is no such thing as "perfect",...right??? I have logged over 3,000 miles on this car and the average miles per gallon is 23 mpg. I just drove it to Montgomery, Alabama three times last week (300+ mile round trip) and my average speed was 70mph with cruise control. You would not believe the number of people who passed me and simply give the car a "thumbs up". You must drive this 20+ feet of luxury automobile. I drive this car daily so the mileage is changing every day. I will not end this auction early, so bid accordingly. I will personally deliver this automobile to any location in the continental 48 United States. I will personally deliver and pay for fuel and expenses if buyer will pay for my one-way return airline ticket and transportation to the airport (or drive me home in this car, buyers option).
