Vehicle Detail
BAGGED 58 Chevy Wagon!!!! Up for sale is my 1958 Chevy Brookwood Wagon, this car runs and drives great. Just got back from a 600 mile round trip to Goodguys in Columbus, Oh without any problems, so i would not hesitate to drive it anywhere! The car has a TON of new parts. The 307 engine has been freshened up with new plugs, wires, cap, points, water pump, fuel pump, theromstat, and has been converted over to a one wire 100amp alt. The fire wall has been shaved and battery relocated to the firewall. It has a auto 350 trans that shifts perfectly and has never given any problems. All new brakes and lines have been installed along with all new wheel cylinders and drum brake hardware with new shoes as well, stops great . I also will include a dual master cylinder that i have not installed. The car is equipped with a full air ride set up purchased from Street Machinery in Euclid Oh. I installed it over this past winter, so it is vertually brand new. The set up is tucked away in the spare tire well so it is not visible, and i used my factory heater controls as the switches to keep the factory look. While installing the air ride i installed new ball joints and tie rods, i have not yet installed the front shock relocators but will include it with the auction. The set up works great with NO leaks!!!! The interior of the car has all been recovered in the teal and white two tone except for the headliner and trunk area. New factory carpet was installed as well. Over the winter i purcheased a brand new set of Coker wide white radials that are still like brand new to keep that old school look. The Body of the car is in good shape with no rust through except some spots in the rear wheel openings and the rear tailgate area, the previous owner that painted the car just bondoed them up for a tempory fix but can be repaired quite easily. The paint was scuffed up to give the old patina look! All the glass is in great shape except for the drivers side front door has some cracks in it, was gonna replace it but it just adds character to the car. The chrome and stainless is all there but can use replating or polished. Over all this is a great old car and dont wanna sell it but have my eye on another project and cant have both....so my loss is your gain. I do have the car for sale locally so i have the right to end the auction at any time. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping, but can assist in some ways to make it easier for you! At the auctions end a $500 Non-refundable depost is due within 24 hrs and the remaining balance in 7 days! SO PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY!!!!!! SEROIUS BIDDERS ONLY!!!! ZERO feed back bidders need to contact me prior to bidding or bid will be deleted!I am sure i am forgetting somthing so if u have any questions please feel free to give me a call at (330) 623-0195 or email me at dgelardi24@aol.com. CAR IS SOLD AS IS !!!! Remember you are NOT bidding on a SHOW CAR fully restored, it is a COOL old car that is dependable and a fun cruiser!!!! Thanks for looking and happy bidding
