Just turning age 62 so its time for some of my toys to go. This is a nice very early production model of the highly collectable 6.9 ( 265th built). (google mercedes 6.9 for reviews of this extremely fast car) The door plate shows that it was imported new to Maryland in 1976 and old registration papers show that it spent a lot of years in Florida. Engine pulls hard and car will cruise at high speed all day. This special Benz was made to run: 417 cubes, alum heads, OHC's, sodium valves, fuel injection, dry sump oiling etc. Car was originally milan brown but previous owner repainted ikon gold. Paint has a few very minor bubbles and will need to be redone if you want to show the car. Interior is very nice. Presently car has japanese cassette deck installed. I have just got the Becker Gran Prix rebuilt. It goes with the car but is not installed. Wheels (5) are the original Bundt alloys. I put about 150 miles a week on the car w/o problems. Hydraulic suspension has had front struts replaced this spring. Rides right and stays pumped up. Self leveling system for trunk and passengers operates right. Car comes with some mechanical and trim spares. Whats needed? Air doesn't blow cold, cruise control is out (Suspect it needs an amp - available on e-bay.) I've set a low minimum to clear the garage space. Have fun in style blowing away american muscle. E-mail me w any questions.
