Vehicle Detail
This is a very Rare and low mile One Owner 1990 Buick Estate Wagon. This is the last of the Oldsmobile 307 ci V8 with a 4 bbl Quadrojet Carburator. ONLY 43,500 original miles (+-). This wagon is in great shape besides some minor damage to the drivers side fender and door where anothers car tire rubbed it. Sadly it has a salvage title due to that damage, but runs and drives excellent. The Estate Wagon crusies down the Interstate at 80mph. The front end is rock solid. The brakes feel fine but they may be original like everything else. It does have a battery kill switch so you dont have a dead battery from sitting. The steering wheel is upside down and needs simply spun around and reset the pin. I had it off once but realized the wheel needs to be turned to get into the right position. I have the Big Shop Manual that is included. This wagon wasnt used very much. The interior is near perfect. The headliner needs replaced. The AC will kick on but but needs recharged. This Classic in its final years is an 8 passenger classic woody wagon!! All Original! Chrome is in very good condition. Mostly unchanged since 1977. There isnt much difference in power compared to the 350ci, this 307 gets better gas mileage. The wheels are super nice too; I have seen this style wheel New Old Stock (NOS) wheels in Buick catalogs that cost over $500 each! This Estate Wagon has new front tires. New battery. New Plugs, New Wires, New Distributor Cap and Rotor Button. Climate Control, Cassette Player, Power Seats, Cruise Control, Power Windows and Locks. Power Rear Window is fully functional. Every button works! 3 speed with overdrive Automatic shifts perfectly. Wheelbase is 115.9 in, it is 220.5 in in Length, 79.3 in in Width and 59.3 in in Height. Assembled in Arlington Texas. 307 A slightly larger 307-cubic-inch (5.0 L) version was introduced in 1980. It uses a 3.8 in (97 mm) bore (in common with the Buick 231 V6 and 350 V8) with a 3.385 in (86.0 mm) stroke. All 307s were painted black. It was used in most Oldsmobile models, as well as those from Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Pontiac. Every 307 used a four-barrel carburetor, generally a variant of the Rochester Quadrajet, usually the CCC (Computer Command Control) Quadrajet. In fact, the 1990 5.0 L Olds V8 was the last carbureted passenger car engine on the market in the United States (excluding the 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 351-cubic-inch (5.8 L) V8, the 1991 Subaru Justy (base model) and the 1993 Isuzu pick up truck, the very last carbureted road vehicle sold in the U.S.). The output of the 307-cubic-inch (5.0 L) was not particularly high in terms of horsepower. For example, the stock (non-high-output, VIN "Y") 307-cubic-inch (5.0 L) in the 1983 Oldsmobile 98 was a mere 140 horsepower, although in that year a high-output model (VIN "9") was available producing a nominal 180 horsepower, at approximately 245-foot/pounds torque. The final 1990 configuration was rated at 140 horsepower at 3200 RPM, and 255-foot/pounds of torque at 2000 rpm. The combination of good low-RPM torque, the Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, and the THM-200-4R three-speed-plus overdrive automatic transmission having a lockup torque converter allowed for fairly good performance, and fuel economy considered reasonable for the era, even in the larger and heavier model cars. Although Ive tried to describe The 1990 Buick Estate Wagon to the best of my ability, it is being sold as is. There is no warranty on this vehicle. Vehicle is being sold locally and I may end auction at any time. I may block your bid if you have zero feedback. If you dont have a pay pal account your bid may be blocked also. If you have any questions, need more info, or would like to come and inspect and test drive this fine car before bidding, please let me know; If this were going to be my everyday driver I would replace the rear tires as well, get oil filter change and lube. Good Luck Bidding, No Reserve!!! Thanks for your Interest.
