Vehicle Detail

Selling off the collection. I have a running and driving 1966 land cruiser wagon and a non running 1964 land cruiser wagon. These vehicles are being offered together along with misc. FJ parts that I have collected over the years. Everything must go. The 66 is a running and driving vehicle and the 64 is a project car that is partially disassembled. 1966 fj 45 Engine 1962 corvette engine v8 256 New Hei distributor, wires, plugs, Fuel system has been completely gone through. The gas tank was boiled out and resealed. All hoses and fitting were replaced. New fuel pump and filter. Carburetor was rebuilt, new water pump, new alternator, thermostat, hoses, air filter, starter rebuilt, New battery and cables. Engine was rewired, rebuilt radiator, All fluids replaced Axles Both axles have been swapped out with axles out of a 1972 cruiser. Fine splined axles. The front axle has been converted to disc brakes. New brake pads and calipers, brake rotors were turned, new seals and bearing. Rear axle was gone through as well, new pads, wheel cylinders, seals. All fluids replaced Suspension Add a leaf suspension kit. New shocks and u-bolts. Hydraulics New brake and clutch master cylinder. New slave cylinder, new brake lines. Body The outer body was sand blasted and primed a few years ago. The body was not removed from the chassis so the under side still has surface rust. The pictures show all the spot were the rust has eaten all the way through. The front section of the vehicle is in very good shape but the rear half needs some attention. There are a few spots where the rust is coming back so the body will need more attention at some point. All of the lights function. Interior The Front seat has been newly reupholstered; some of the gauges don’t work. It originally shifted on the steering column but has been converted to the floor. It has no rear seat or headliner. Misc. The four wheel drive function as well as the pto winch. The winch is lacking the hook on the end. Areas needing attention The Body is the main concern. The rear window hatch is removed because one of the hinges is seized. It had a second fuel tank at one time and the hole below the rear side window is still present. The fender wells were cut to accommodate large tire some years back. Some of the glass has minor pitting from the sand blasting. 1964 Fj45 Wagon- Complete and restorable vehicle. The vehicle has the engine removed at present but the engine if complete with transmission and t-case. The vehicle ran and drove before the engine was removed. Most rust is only surface besides some holes in the floor pan as well as the tailgate. The vehicle was painted with primer a few years ago but the rust is begining to show. The vehicle needs a dry home. It is missing one rear side window and one of the rear passenger door windows. The driver's door latch needs attention , which is common on most FJ'S Additional parts: I have many leftover parts from the various Cruiser projects over the years which include:interior parts and electrical switches along with random pieces of weatherstripping and window gasket rubber. All this is included in the aution as well. The 1966 is sound in regards to all the mechanical aspects. It runs well, It has a comfortable ride and brakes well. I originally planned on fully restoring this vehicle and took special care to make sure things were done properly. My goals and interest have changed so I regretfully need to find another home for the vehicle. There are probably many other new parts that I have forgotten to list but you can get a good idea of its condition from the list above. In the pictures the tan vehicle with the pretty engine compartment is the 66 and the gray ruster one is the 64 For more pics visit-- http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj271/toyotanut/FJ45%201964%20Land%20Cruiser%20Wagon/Fj45%201966%20Land%20Cruiser/Fj45%201966%20Land%20Cruiser/ and http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj271/toyotanut/FJ45%201964%20Land%20Cruiser%20Wagon/
