Here's a chance of a lifetime! If you wanted one of these great 1st Gen rotary-powered vehicles when they were new, you can now go back in time. This RX-7 has just over 36,000 miles and looks like what you would expect from a well-kept 2 year old vehicle. This is the top-of the-line model, the GSL-SE, which comes with the larger 13B engine. The car is in great shape. All original factory paint! Clean, no door dings. Runs great, starts immediately on the first turn, whether middle of summer or in the middle of the winter. Don't worry, this car has never seen snow or salt... in fact, it has only seen rain twice. This RX-7 has won awards at local car shows and has been featured in an RX-7 calendar. Options include Power steering, steel removable moon roof, and cloth interior. Everything works fine, including the radio and multi-band EQ. No leaks. Air blows ice cold. Interior is in fine shape, expect the carpet in the rear hatch area has a small cigarette burn. All the weatherstripping is in fine shape with no dry rot or sun-bake issues. Some very minor stone chips in the front portion of the hood and the bumper, normal for the amount of mileage. The goal has been to keep this classic close to stock as possible in order to maintain its collector value. There are only minor changes from stock: - Tokico Blue shocks- Racing Beat engine brace- Racing beat headers, pre-silencer, and Magnaflow muffler. The muffler could be a little quieter, but it's a cheap and easy replacement to pull it out for a Racing Beat muffler. I've spent the money to buy and and install the hard stuff. - New battery, idler arm bushing, and the gas tank was relined (lifetime warranty). - Infinity speakers repalced the stock rear speakers (looks stock no cutting) All mechanical work was performed by highly-regarded certified professionals. Tires and wheels pictured on the vehicle are 15x7 with good Falken 205/50 series tires. Sale will include either these OR 16" Enkei rims with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT 195/50ZR16 tires.
