1978 Chevrolet Elcamino Conquista, 305 v8 engine with 2 bbl carb, turbo 350 auto trans, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, rally wheels, front disc brakes, custom tonneau cover, custom rubber bed mat, Amost rust free body due to Zbart rustproofing when the car was new, one inch by 4 inch surface rust on bottom of passenger front fender, rest of body is perfect, the bed is rust free and painted body color with no rust just a few scratches, windows are professionally tinted, has a custom LUND sunvisor installed. all chrome is excellent, the interior is excellent seat cover is brand new from Parts Unlimited in California (cost $400 installed professionally), door panels are perfect, dash pad is perfect and crack free. Air conditioning worked perfect last fall but blows warm now .. probably needs a charge. Has 60's era chrome plated 14x7 corvette rally wheels. This car runs down the road great. Has a cat back high performance dual exhaust system that sounds great. Has custom blue and burgundy pinstripping on the body. this is a rust free, bondo free, elcamino that has an excellent interior and it drives great. If you have plates and insurance you can drive this car home to anywhere. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel auction early if I sell it locally. Deposit and or full price can be sent via Pay Pal. the Elcamino nor the title leave my hands until I have the full purchase price in my hands in cash. this car is registered and insured and is driven frequently on nice days. It is not a 100 point show car, but attracts a crowd and good comments wherever I take it. All the parts are there including the polution devices just as it left the factory. This is a great driver and local car show vehicle that is all original except for a repaint at least 10 years ago. The guy I purchased the car from said the mileage was 39,000 miles but that he got into an arguement with motor vehicles when he registered the car. the clerk did not believe a car this old could have such low mileage and insisted the title say 139,000 miles. the motor vehicles won the arguement and that is what the title says. the car looks like a 39000 mile car not a 139000 miles. I beleived the seller.
