Vehicle Detail
I'm selling this 2000 M5 because I'm basically done having a car I can't modify. It's perfect and there is nothing out there that this car needs. It's a Dinan S2 with Stage 3 suspension and stage 3 clutch/ flywheel package. The only non dinan upgrade is a rouge xpipe. Car has; Dinan headers/ dinan rear mufflers/ dinan 3.64 gearset/ dual carbon fiber intakes with big aluminum housing mass air flows/ dinan big bore throttle bodies/ dinan velocity stacks/ dinan cams and a stage 6 (rare) tune. Suspension is Dinan springs with Dinan/ JRZ double adjustable shocks. Dinan short shift kit. Probably lots of things I'm forgetting too. Car is a monster and if I wasn't getting a lotus, I'd be keeping it. And if it doesn't sell for enough, I have no probs waiting. So, what else makes this car worth it?? At 76000 miles, the engine was torn down for the secondary air crap that goes wrong all the time. New headgaskets, new bearings, new dinan stage 3 clutch combo (the one made for the supercharged version) Google "Dinan S2 E39 M5" and learn a ll about it. Other upgrades: LED angel eyes with projectors HID and rear tinted tails, just the blinkers not the red. Genuine AC Schnitzer 3 piece !9" type 3's with basically brand new Hankook Z rate's. Also incl is a full size matching spare (that's $10k worth of wheels and tires) Navi screen was also upgraded to widescreen. Fold down split rear seats, interior is in great condition showing usual wear. CF wrap done on trim and done nicely. Contact me with any ????s. EDIT: Pulled the listing to add interior pics and answer some questions. I'm well known in the BMW road race community so it seems to be assumed I tracked this car. I DID NOT and never had the intention to. I drove it briskly but never actually even hit over 100 that I can remember. I do own a body shop but I haven't done anything other than wetsand and buff for detailing. No rust, undercarriage is clean. The brakes have a ton of life left. I suck at selling. I don't know about any previous damage, carfax is clean. I had title issues when I bought it because they missed a digit and I made them correct it. Nightmare but it's sorted. I do owe on it still so the bank will want their money before title passes hands. Done it this way before, it takes minimal effort on my end. Split folding rear seat, all S2 options, rear strut and what not. Does not have brembo brakes unfortunately. I have been getting a lot of offers online but I feel this gives everyone the chance fairly. I have done the guibo already. My ppi 6 months ago came back as that was all that needed immediate attention. The bushings can be replaced (thrust, diff, subframe) but not dire need yet. It's little stuff for me to do myself but I'll never have time. I have all the stock lights to go with the car or tell me to put them back in. The rears are LED's and they throw "check blahblah". I never bought the resistors. The car is 10 years old and has minor blemishes/ rock chips. 0 dings and I touch up and polish all the chips. If you really love these cars, this one really is amazing. I don't really want to sell so I won't if price doesn't get to what I want. Good luck!
