2002 Z06 Corvette, 1 owner, 28000 miles. 405 HP, 5.7L V8, 6-speed, black with black leather interior, power everything. Heads up display, Bose sound (AM/FM/CD), Lojack equipped, includes a custom Corvette car cover. If you know Corvettes you know this car is unbelievably fast with smooth precise handling. I purchased it new in Plano, TX in 2002 and have loved and pampered this car for the past 8 years. I hate to sell this car because it is a true blast to drive, but I have moved to the mountains of NC and this car just isn't practical for this environment (but I have had a lot of fun terrorizing blue hair Floridians coming up the mountain). Repairs (all under warranty except the last): both power window motors, ABS module, turn signal/flasher module, ignition/anti-theft interlock. Three minor incidents which resulted in repainting: 1) in stopped traffic the car behind me was hit by a third car, and rolled forward causing a scuff on the rear bumper; (2) in a parking lot at work someone backed into the front, causing a scuff and requiring repainting, (3) my daughter backed into the rear quarter panel like 3 days after she got her driver's license, resulting in repainting and her grounding for life. Interestingly, these 3 incidents were caused by women running into a car that was not moving. I offer this as scientific proof that men are better drivers than women- the odds are 8:1 against this being a random occurrence. Known issues (see pictures): 1) Wear on the driver's seat between the head rest and body, 2) the environmental display is dim and hard to read in bright sunlight especially if you are wearing sunglasses, 3) a small scratch on the left rear where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel. Battery is about 2 years old, second set of tires has about 15,000 miles on them (Firestone Firehawks). The car is titled in TX; buyer will need a temporary tag and be responsible for picking up in NC or transporting from here. $500 deposit required by PayPal within 24 hrs, balance due by Cashier's check or wire transfer within 3 days.
