Vehicle Detail

This Dart has been a regular daily driver prior to my purchase about a year ago, and probably has a lot of miles on it. However, the previous owners took good mechanical care of the car. All of the front suspension is tight, the brakes are all very good, tires are good, and the car runs and drives nice. I did paint it, but did not do a restoration quality job on the paint. Essentially, the car had some quarter panel damage and really needed paint, but I did not want to restore the car for lack of time. It has new OEM style carpet, new OEM style headliner, and a new dash cap. Otherwise the interior is the way I got it. The car was hit on the drivers quarter bad enough that repair was not feasable, so I put a new Goodmark skin on that side. It appears the drivers door is not original, so I can assume it was also damaged in the past and replaced. The replacement door is not great, but certainly not worth replacing. Overall the car was low on rust, but did have holes in both front floors, corners on the hood, spot on the right rear quarter just behind the wheel, and front lower corners of both doors. Amazingly the roof and around the window channels are good, the trunk lid and both front fenders where not rusted. The trunk floor is rust free except for a small spot about an inch around right near the left rear tail light. The seam sealer from the factory must have held some moisture in that spot. As you can see in pics, the windshield is cracked and faded. Most of the instruments in the dash do not work currently, but all the lights and blinkers work on the car. It was an air car, but the air components under the hood had been removed prior to me. Again, I want to reiterate that this car has not been restored and will need some additional work to make it more than a daily driver. It is very presentable as is, however.
