1972 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY Up for sale is a 1972 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY. Original ontario orange exterior paint color. Dark sattle interior. Equipped with 454 V8 engine. 4-speed manual transmission. Aftermarket cassette radio (no speakers are currently installed). Leather seats. The car has some scratches / scuffs but is in fair condition for it’s age. The frame shows evidience of rust. We cannot say for certain if the frame will need to be replaced or not as one corvette restorer's opinion may differ from another. The car will start up but has not been driven on a regular basis. It has been sitting for awhile. This is the 3rd owner of the vehicle. Just about everything in this car is original factory equipment. The current owner replaced the interior, gas tank, fuel lines, fuel pump and brakes within the last year. The owner also has a set of factory oem side pipes (with fiberglass covers) and Crager spoke wheels/tires that will be included with the car. One of the exhaust tips is not shown in the photo, however, the owner has told us that he will install the new tip before the car is sold. Also, the luggage rack is not installed (but will be included). This car is a great restoration project for the right person. VIN # MA8311Note about VIN: This car was issued a new VIN # by the state of Massachusetts. The previous VIN was removed due to theft from the previous owner. The current owner has all documentation for the old VIN# and new VIN# The motor, interior and exterior paint color all are factory original.
