LOWERED STARTING PRICE!!!!! NO RESERVE….. 1998 Dodge Dually, 3500 / 1- ton, Quad Cab short wheel base, 2WD truck. Engine is a 12 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel with 196,000 miles and transmission is a manual 5 speed. The rear axle ratio is 3.5 .This truck is extra clean for a 98 year model. The transmission has a new clutch, pressure plate, new synchronizers, new main shaft installed by Dodge dealership. The 4 rear tires are BRAND NEW. The front tires are 80%. Comes with fender chrome trim new and never installed. Interior is clean for a 98 model and only has stains under the drivers floor mat. The seats are in good shape. Good brakes all the way around. New batteries (2). New exterior swing out mirrors. Engine is extra clean along with the entire undercarriage. A bought and driven Southern truck --never ran in the Northern salt or in the mud anywhere. This truck was NOT used as a semi tractor -- only light towing and personal driving. This truck is tight and runs strong. TRUCK NEEDS: A fuel cut off solenoid which can be bought here on eBay for $80. (search Dodge fuel shut off solenoid). A rear axle ABS sensor which can also be bought on eBay for $20.(search Dodge rear ABS sensor). And a fuel tank sending unit --eBay for $100 to $150. The truck runs and drives perfect now --you simply turn the key on and pull the fuel shut off solenoid up and to the on position manually. The truck can be driven anywhere then but once you shut the truck off you must manually trip the shut off again. The ABS sensor is only to turn the dash ABS light off. Not really necessary unless the light bothers you. And the fuel tank sending unit works most of the time but quits for a second or two occasionally then returns the fuel hand to the correct fuel level --more of a minor bother than anything. Other than these 3 minor corrections the truck is absolutely 100% ready to go. It can be driven anywhere now without any problems –just if you cut it off you will have to manually trip the fuel cut off solenoid and she’s ready to go again. The paint is good for a 98 year model with only minor scratches and scrapes. The bed top rails have a dent or two, but the bed has been repainted at some point so it looks good. There is no tailgate on the truck -- but I could get one if it is a dealbreaker. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. If you have ANY questions please ask before you bid.
