Selling a 1983 Mercedes Benz 4 door 300 SD with a good body (no rust), good paint, nice interior, with a recent failure of the automatic transmission. The steering is very tight and the diesel engine runs good with no visible smoke or leaks. The transmission failed last month on a recent trip from Seattle to Santa Barbara. The Mercedes is in Santa Barbara and must be sold and delivered by August 13th. Do not bid on this car unless you can take delivery on or before Aug 13th in Santa Barbara California. The Mercedes has an Arizona title and plates. The car has been well maintained through the years, both the engine and transmission were replaced. I am sorry to see my old friend go and hope someone can rescue the car. No reserve on this eBay auction.
