1992 CHEVY SILVERADO 1 TON DUALLY --------------------- * 7.4 V-8 FUEL INJECTED GAS ENGINE * 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with LOCK OUT CONVERTER (for better fuel mileage) * 195,750 MILES * POWER STEERING * POWER BRAKES * POWER WINDOWS * POWER DOOR LOCKS * TILT STEERING * CRUISE CONTROL * AIR CONDITIONING * AM - FM - CD STEREO * 8 FOOT BED with GOOSE NECK HITCH --------------------------------------- THE DRIVE TRAIN The 7.4 V-8 gas engine seems great, I have drove this truck 400 miles so far and all is well. It runs at normal operating temperature as well as normal oil pressure. The AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION shifts out great in all 4 gears and the converter goes into lock out good that LOWERS the RPM which it's turning at 2000 rpm at 70 miles an hour. The engine is just fine, no abnormal noises, it hits good on all 8 cylinders, it does not burn oil or smoke, I did not see any leaks coming from it ------------------------------ THE BODY This is solid. The truck was in a minor wreck, you will need to replace the driver side fender and door plus the front bumper. This vehicle was insured so the insurance company issued a rebuild-able type salvage title which means after you replace the fender/door/bumper you can apply for a rebuilt regular title and you will be able to license and register this vehicle normal as you ever have (see pictures below). I am an auto body tech, and have been for over 30 years and I have rebuilt many of these light hits like this truck, there easy and quick to do and I will be happy to help and advise you on any questions before and after this auction. I have found the parts here locally (pick n pull) a self serve salvage yard for $125.00 and there the same color as this truck. MOST OF THE TIME, the prior owner did not plan on getting rid of their vehicle, being in the wrong place led up to their vehicle being totaled and what you have after you repair the damage is a real good vehicle that runs out great and most cases as in this one, you find a better mechanical vehicle than what you find on the use car lots THE PAINT JOB is kind of miss matched and looks OK from a distance. There is some minor rust on the passenger side fender, also overall scratches and chips that comes normal for a truck of this year. This truck would so make a perfect restore project or it looks plenty good enough to continue driving it as it is for farm / work. ------------------------- THE INTERIOR Is VERY CLEAN and GOOD SHAPE. There is no rips or tears, the carpet is good shape even under the floor mats, the headliner looks newer and good shape, THE AIR CONDITIONING is ICE COLD and everything else / options seems good and operational ------------------------- OVERALL You got a lot of truck here that drives out great, handles well, operates average and you will be able to buy it at a bargain, right here on ebay, NO RESERVE, so bid to win and don't be a watcher, watchers never win auctions or miss the action at the end. The tires are all matched in size, with about 70% tread. The brakes stop great, no pulsing or pulling. The exhaust is quite and all there.
