1989 Honda CR

RELISTED... I THOUGHT I HAD IT SOLD LOCALLY BUT THEY COULDN'T COME UP WITH THE MONEY. Up for sale is my 1989 Honda CR250. This bike has a lot of goodies so please read carefully. The entire bike was disassembled this past winter. The frame welds were examined and then it was sent off to powder coat, NOT PAINT! EVERY bearing on the ENTIRE bike was replaced. Even wheel bearings. New Michelin Star Cross tires and new tubes were installed as well as new fork seals. Bark Breakers were installed on the handlebars and the seat was redone. New O-Ring chain. 13 Tooth front sprocket for faster bottom end speed. New rear sprocket. A late model rear fender and a stock front fender were replaced. A new Fatty Pipe was installed and the silencer was repacked. As for the motor, the bottom end was COMPLTELY pulled apart and reassembled then the top end was redone with new everything. The carb was rebuilt and the bike starts on the second kick most every time. The engine has been broken in and I’ve had it out four times for about an hour each ride. I have two other bikes that I ride more often and I prefer my CR500. This bike is ready to ride. It needs nothing. Buy it today, ride it today! The pictures make the bike look almost new but there are some blemishes. The tank was not replaced but was painted and it bubbles sometimes. New red tanks are available for $175 if you want a pretty one. I think it’s missing a spoke on the rear tire as well. As I stated, I have ridden it a few times so this is not a museum piece but rather a restored piece of history you can actually ride. Over $3800 Invested! It would not take much to return this bike back to FULLY original with correct plastics etc. Everything is available aftermarket. I HAVE A CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN MY NAME!
