1981 Chevy Corvette Automatic 76k Orignal miles in storage since 1992. In the mid 80's a complete ground effect kit was installed by a well know corvette shop in long island (At the time it was very expensive) The car spend many weekends at local corvette vette shows in the late 80's then but into storage in 1992. The body is in good shape for a 30 year old car, the paint is okay but its at least 20 years old so its far from perfect and has plenty of imperfections. The orignal interior for the age of the car looks great as you can see in the pictures! After takeing it out of storage a few months ago the valve gaskets were done, new water pump, new chrome valve covers and new chrome air cleaner with HP filter. The car starts right up and blows no smoke and burns no oil, the tranny shifts good. It still should be gone over before putting it back on the road, the brakes need to be bleed fresh fluids etc.. things you would expect from a car thats been off the road. The frame is very solid, no major rust! Please ask all questions before you place a bid! Do to the cars age its being sold as-is.
