Up for auction is a 1979 Pontiac Grand Am coupe, Claret/Gold w/Blk interior. I am the second owner of this car, and it as been well maintained. This car is all original, numbers matching with the exception of a repaint a few years ago. The previous owner was religious about keeping every sliver of paper pertaining to this car, so it is highly documented. I have had this car for little over a year, and changed the oil myself...it sees very little road time, and the paint is in great condition, so I didn't add any documentation to the folder. As you can see in the pics, it's a very clean, straight, and beautiful car, and it runs, drives, and handles as well as it looks. The interior is also in excellent condition, and to the best of my knowledge was owned by non-smokers previously. So, the not so flattering: the AC needs to be charged, there is a small oil leak (I believe from a valve cover or pan), the power antennae does not work, there is a small bubble in the paint on the passenger quarter panel, about a 1/2 paint chip on front bumper, and the speedometer fluctuates at speeds over 60 mph (I have a new cable that comes with the car). Second gen Grand Am's are rare, and very hard to find...not impossible, just difficult, but especially one in this condition.
