Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for auction is a very solid and sound 1986 Suzuki Samurai JX 4x4. This Samurai is in great mechanical condition and 95% rust free. It has new spark plugs and wires, a new starter, and new bearings and seals in the birfield joints on the front axle. I have also done the complete sloppy shifter fix for the transmission and transfer case, as well as replaced the parking brake cable. When I did the seals in the birfield joints, I changed the fluids in the axles and transmission and transfer case to full synthetic. The front seats are a very nice pair from a 1997 Cavalier. The full top has no tears and does not leak. This Samurai still has the original red paint- there is some fading. It has a 2 inch shackle lift to clear the 235/70R16 Dayton Timberline A/T tires (85-90% tread) on 16x7 American Racing rims. The 1.3L engine runs great and strong, it does have a small oil leak from the distributor seal(a common Samurai proble and easy fix). I have owned this Samurai for more than a year and am not afraid to drive it down any road. My wife and I have used it for summer trips for ice cream and to family events. It has not seen any winter roads and was stored inside during the winter season. It was previously titled in South Carolina. The only rust is a quarter size spot near tailgate and a few small spots on the hood (all light surface). The previous owner has patched a few spots on the front floor pans(he used steel and it is very solid). There is no carpet. Reason for selling we need to thin down on number of vehicles. I believe that I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability. Vehicle is sold as is and is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction early.
