I'm selling my rare 850 R which I purchased in June of 2004 when it had 135,900 miles on it. I just don't drive it very often and I'm selling to make room for an ATV which my family and I would probably use more. I'm not interested in any trades. This is one of many cars I own and it has never been my 'daily driver' as you can tell by the mileage. During my ownership over the past 6yrs, it has always been stored in my garage. I have only driven the car on nice 'Fair' weather days, never in the rain. For the most part, the car is original and 'unmolested'. I never modified the ECU or the turbo in order to squeeze more power out of it. It's plenty fast without any mods over stock. For those who don't know, Volvo's "R" line is their top model which combines luxury and sport performance. It's comparable to BMW's "M" line and Audi's "S" line. This was a limited production model and few exist on the road today that are still in this good of shape. Only the R model came with two-tone leather and suede interior, front and rear spoilers, upgraded suspension, 240 hp stock, and 17" volan wheels to name a few. The high pressure turbo makes this car untouchable from 60 to 90mph. Original price & specs: 850 R ($38,685 MSRP): 2.3 L I5, 240 hp (179 kW) @ 5600 rpm and 221 ft·lbf (300 N·m) @ 2100 rpm Here's a list of what I have added to the car: 18" Mille Miglia Wheels Yokohama Parada Spec-2 Tires 225/55/ZR/18 E-Code headlight lenses IPD Black mesh grill with R logo 332mm Big Brake upgrade (rotors, calipers, pads) Stainless Steel braided brake lines (front) The wheels and tires where purchased at the same time and have about 5k miles on them. The front brake kit and ss lines where done at the same time and have about 3k miles on them. This car is 14yrs old, so don't expect it to be in perfect condition. I would consider this car to be in great condition compared to other vehicles of this age, but it does have wear and tear. I have provided many detailed pictures so you can see for yourself the condition. The paint is shiny and does not have any rust or flaking. There is a small scratch and a couple small dents on the passenger side of the vehicle, but you have to be looking for it in order to see them (see the close-up pictures below). The interior is in great condition. The only seat showing wear is the driver's seat. No tears or rips. The leather and suede are in good condition. The car runs great and is very fast. This vehicle is being sold in AS-IS condition with no warranty expressed or implied. Make sure you want this car BEFORE you bid. I'm not a mechanic or a vehicle inspector, so please keep that in mind. I am doing my best to describe this vehicle and it's condition.
