1983 Mercedes 300TD W123 Turbo Diesel Station Wagon. Code 040 black with palomino MB-tex interior. 175K original miles. This wagon has the third seat option. The paint is original and in very decent condition. There are a few scratches and dings, but nothing major. The interior is very nice. The seats are very comfortable, and there are no tears or rips in the upholstery. The dash has one very small crack from the passenger side speaker grill. The carpet is clean and in good condition. The original spare is in place and looks to have never been used. All the systems work well on this car, including A/C. We have brought all of the maintenance up to date on this car, including new axels, ac compressor, engine and transmission mounts, repaired engine oil leaks, changed all fluids and filters, replaced upper control arms with bushings, and installed new ball joints. New tires were installed and the front end was aligned at the same time. The original Becker cassette player is still in place and works well, along with the automatic antenna that fully extends and retracts. This car is truly a pleasure to drive. It makes great power and tracks down the road perfectly straight. The steering is very tight and there are no funny noises. The transmission makes very nice shifts with no slippage.
