You are bidding on a 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe 4-door sedan with the 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. It has a dark green exterior and primarily green interior with contrasting shades of gray and green. It has the dependable 235 CI 'Stovebolt' 6 cylinder engine. As far as I can tell it is an Original, Survivor car. It still has a 6-volt system and oil-bath air cleaner. The interior is all original in good condition; the dash wind-up clock still works. There is no radio. There is a small rip in the back of the driver's seat (see photo). There headliner is intact; there is some staining as would be expected in a car of this age. While the exterior looks good, it is not a show car, more of a '20 footer', but solid. There are some chips and nicks that would be expected in a car of this vintage, but it still looks very good. All the chrome included in the Deluxe package is present including body rub molding on the front fenders and doors, bright metal rear fender gravel guards with long extension molding sweeping up over the wheel housing and Deluxe script logo directly above the gravel guards. There is a small dent in the gravel guard on the passenger side. The bumpers and grill look great, though there is some pitting on the rear bumper. I had the car inspected by an independent inspector when I purchased it approximately one year ago. I am willing to share this report with any SERIOUS buyer. I bought the car from a private seller; it has been garage kept during my ownership of the car. The odometer reading of 16,129 cannot be verified; I suspect it has turned over once. Feel free to contact me through the eBay message center. The car runs, but there is some hesitation when applying the gas. I have replaced the plugs and points and installed a new 6-volt battery (now 1 year old). Additionally I had a new tail/exhaust pipe installed. The Powerglide transmission shifts smoothly and the car rides very well. It comes with fender skirts, owner's manual, shop manual, 6-volt Battery Tender Plus and new Lloyds carpeted floor mats with Chevrolet script on the front mats. I have clear title to the car. It is being sold as-is, without a warranty. Payment is as follows: A $500 deposit within 72 hours of the auction end. Full payment by official bank check within 10 days of the auction close.
