2005 Impala, white, police package, good condition, 95k miles This car has the larger, 3.8L, V-6 engine giving it great acceleration. It has power windows, locks, am/fm cassette, dual-zone A/C. Front buckets are cloth, rear bench is vinyl. With an 8-year-old, I have appreciated the vinyl in the back! I put new tires on it at 70,000 miles, so there is still good tread. I just installed a new battery about 2 months ago. The rear brake pads are down to 5% and the front pads are at 20%. I am having the brakes done this week. There will be new pads on all four and the front rotors will be turned. Once I have that done, you should be good to go for a lot of miles. It runs great with no other known problems. Cosmetically, there are a couple of small tears in the vinyl on the side of the driver's seat. It was that way when I bought it 18 months ago. The B-Pillar and the seat belt cover it, so I don't even see it getting in and out of the car. I only notice it when I move the seat forward/back to vacuum the floors. Also, you can see where they had the "cage" mounted at the top of the B-pillars. Again - not something you would notice in everyday driving. Other than that - it's in very good condition. I believe it may have been painted when they took it out of sheriff service (removed decals, etc.), but I don't know for sure. My mechanic told me there is no indication of any prior body damage.
