Up for sale is my 1981 Camaro. Just got the bulk of the restoration completed and figured out it's just not my kind of car. The original 305 has been replaced with a rebuilt 350, it has a fresh rebuilt quardajet, new ignition wires, new distributor, new starter, rear leaf springs, new rims and tires (tires have probably 90% tread), new interior (including seats, carpet, gauges, dash, V-Matic hurst shifter). All the electrical was serviced before I bought it, so all lights/signals work perfectly. It starts and runs every time. I have installed a 400 watt sound system with CD player. Sounds very nice without shaking the trunk.Things that are not done/not perfect: the transmission is original (turbo 350, was going to replace it, but it shifts perfectly), the seatbelts are original (still functional), the tachometer needs to be hardwired to one of the ignition wires (runs off the original signal wire, won't go above 2100 rpm), exhaust isn't finished (it has headers and two new mufflers and is run back to about the rear axle. It's pretty quiet, the exhaust could probably be dumped out after the mufflers, but where I live the cops are very strict about engine noise). There was some damage on the passenger side, it has been patched and most people don't notice it, but to be perfect it would need new panels.Basically it needs about 15/20 hours of work from someone who is going to love this car.
