Vehicle Detail
I LOWERED THE RESERVE $2000 !! Hello and thanks for looking at my listing. This is round 2 so I have lowered my reserve ALOT!! This is my 1989 Wyss Catering Truck. I have been using it daily and making a living for the past 5 years. I own it free and clear with title. With the right location it is without a doubt a serious eye catcher and money maker. Here's the pros: all working properly 36 Flat Top Grill, Char Broiler, 2 Basket deep fryer, Hot holding self/serve inside/outside oven, Self serve refridgerator, Inside freezer over sink, 4 large very cold refrigerator sections, 3 compartment sink, hand wash sink, running/pressurized water, extra large sandwich table with extra large holding pans and cutting board, a working microwave oven, a garland baking oven, (think PIZZA)On board 2500 watt inverter/charger(5 yrs old) with 3 deep cycle batteries (gives 110 volts for about 8 hours, just plug it in and it automatically charges the deep cycle batteries overnight), Interface 2000 control panel mounted to the dash,on board dual batter charger for the starting and house batteries (also keeps the batteries warm and charged in the winter) outside beverage cooler/bin holds 14 cases of 20oz sodas, 25 gallons fresh water holding, 35 gallons gray water holding, 22 gallon propane tank (5 yrs old) attached underneath (fill up just like an RV camper), two 4 year old commercial compressors installed underneath truck in perfect working order, LOTS AND LOTS of overhead racks and storage. 4 people can work comfortably side by side, new radiator, new alternator, new starting motor , new head gaskets (all of them), transmission rebuilt three years ago, AND New tires all around! This truck has the rear access door right next to the grill. Big help in the summer! 4 large skylights that open, Very little to no visible rust. If you want I'll remove the decals and my logos. You can have the "WWheel-E-Good name if you want it. It is currently health dept. inspected and passed in my home town. All the shiny stainless steel is very impressive to the inspectors. I also have tons of supplies, pots, pans and utensils you can pick out for pennies on the dollar when you come to pick it up. Now, so we are clear, you plug in the 2 compressors at night and they freeze up the big freezer plates in the refrigerators overnight. I have two reverse plug outlets on the back so it is really easy access. The freezer section just stays frozen and works very well. I also have a snap on fitting you attach to your garden hose and just snap on the hose to fill the fresh water tank. Super easy! The very best thing about this truck is the layout of the cooking section. If you know what you are doing you run this truck BY YOUSELF!!!!!!! YOU KEEP THE MONEY! Here's the cons: It's a 1989 so let's all be reasonable, a few nicks, dings and small dents here and there. It could use a fresh paint job. The engine is NOT currently running. One month ago we replaced the 454 with another used 454 and got one week's work before it conked out. I am not a mechanic so I don't have a clue as to what is wrong. We changed all the head gaskets and still nothing. Get another engine popped in here and your in business. My mechanic brother thinks its a warped piston rod (or two) I spent all I had on that used engine and can't afford to do it again so I'll sell it like it is. You will have to tow it out of my driveway upon sale. Also, the power steering works but needs a hose replacement. I spoke with someone I know is a master mechanic. He said we did not replace a broken piston we found correctly. So it looks like someone just needs to do a piston and connecting rod job on the engine. While trying to replace the bad instrument cluster light bulbs I managed to screw up the odometer. It shot to 300000+ miles. All I can say is I know that this truck has 161000 miles on it. I swear. If this bothers you, please don't bid. Winning bidder will have 48 hours to send a $500 deposit via paypal only. The remaining balance is due within 10 days at pick up and will be accepted in the form of Cash or Cashiers check from a US Bank. No excuses. No deposit and the deal is off,and no show after and I keep your deposit. You get reported and I re-list. I have a family to feed. Please feel free to email me through ebay for questions or call me at 203-948-0770. No calls after 9pm EST (You wake the baby and the price goes up!!). This vehicle is sold as is/where is. If you are in the area and would like to see it give me a call. I am just 7 Miles south of the Danbury/I-84 exchange on Route 7 OR 14 miles north of I-95 Norwalk on Route 7. God willing, my loss will be someone's blessing. I will work with you the best I can if you are going to have someone tranport this for you. JUST COMMUNICATE OK. Thanks and God Bless On Jul-30-10 at 05:58:44 PDT, seller added the following information: IF YOU CAN REPAIR THIS ENGINE, YOU CAN TURN IT AROUND AND SELL IT FOR $20,000. THAT IS A PRETTY GOOD INVESTMENT IF YOU ASK ME. AND IT WILL SELL ! I HAVE HAD CALLS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
