This motorcycle was built to be the fastest production motorcycle in the world, normally aspirated. This Honda Super Blackbird has a Hahn Racecraft turbo setup that boosts power to 240 hp at the rear wheel. The turbo is a Mitsubishi 16G and is hidden very well in the lower cowling with only the K&N air filter poking through the lower fairing. The turbo kit was installed by an aircraft mechanic in Texas who did an excellent job and upgraded all the oil lines to AN (aircraft spec) fittings and hoses as well as custom brackets to help support the weight of the turbo. There is a lighted boost gauge mounted low in the front fairing and only visible to the rider. It has a gold 520 chain and geared down 2 teeth in the rear and up 1 in the front for high speed. There is a custom LED integrated undertail and side-mounted, lighted license plate bracket. It has a single Micron exhaust system and everything from the turbo to exhaust can has been powdercoated silver. There is an Innovate wideband O2 sensor which feeds information to a datalogger which can be connected to any laptop computer wirelessly via Bluetooth. The datalogger also monitors throttle position, manifold air pressure (boost), air-to-fuel, and RPM. The bike is in overall beautiful shape with only 8500 miles and about 1500 of that being turbo-charged. The system is extremely reliable and runs just like a stock bike around town and on the highway until you get on it and everything changes, quickly!
