Vehicle Detail
1961 Impala Very original Sport Sedan "no-post" 4-door (VIN 11739L161228) It has the original white paint job (it has never even been repainted before) and has no rust or major dents. All fenders, quarter panels, floor boards, foot boards, wheel wells, radiator core supports, trunk compartment, etc. are free from any penetrating type of rust. The car does have some oxidation were the original paint has burned away due to the intense Arizona sun (see photos). I have been told that this car would be a good parts car to help restore a Bubbletop (Bubble Top) Impala! This car was originally sold in 1961 in Tucson Arizona and is currently located in Tucson Arizona. This car needs a total restoration of the interior seats, headliner, door panels, carpet, etc (see photos). The six-cylinder motor is running but has a knock (possibly a rod knock). However, it appears to be original to the car and I have included photos of some casting numbers so that this can be researched. THE CAR HAS; 4 NEWER RADIAL TIRES & 3 original hubcaps A clear notorized Arizona title in my Father's name A full set of keys (but trunk lock cylinder is missing) A crack in the front windshield (the rest of the glass looks good) A knock in the motor Please feel free to email or call Jeff at (520) 544-4400 with any questions. You are also welcome to come and inspect the car. The winning bidder is required to pay a $500.00 deposit (non-refundable) within 48 hours through PayPal. The buyer is responsible for final payment (See Payment Terms) and transporting the vehicle within 14 days from the end of the auction. This car is sold "AS-IS". If it's not in the photo, I don't have it...
