Vehicle Detail
Original 1966 U13 Bronco Roadster I hate to even think about selling this EXTREMELY RARE 1966 U13 Bronco Roadster. I just have too many projects in the garage and this Bronco should be driven and enjoyed. Or, it should be taken to car shows and driven in parades. I hear this claim a lot about other Broncos, but this is truly a One-Of-A-Kind in extremely pristine condition and would be an absolute treasure to any Ford collector or Bronco lover. There were only about 3000 Bronco Roadsters ever built, only from 1966-1968. Good luck finding another one in this amazing condition. Built in August of 1965 it is one of the very first Broncos to come off the line. It has the Straight 6, 3-speed on the column, 4.11 gears and M-Code Wimbledon White. It has a fresh, complete, correct Wimbledon White, body-off restoration by Nicks Trix just outside of Charlotte, NC. All hardware has been nickel plated. The underside of the truck is cleaner and more pristine than most bodies on other vehicles. Absolutely NO RUST, I mean nothing! Nada! It might be as perfect as it gets. Some items have been added for safety and to update, but all parts would seem to be original and may even fool some “trained” Bronco experts. In other words, the restoration is first class and done correctly even if not “original” to this 66 Roadster. Obviously this Roadster is still “uncut” as well. Additional photos of restoration can be found at www.roadsteru13.com and at www.nickstrix.com. 1966 Bronco Specific Parts Included: Silver Gray Dash with Speaker Cover Silver Gray Interior with Silver Sun Visors Metal Driver Side Air Vent 66 Hub Caps - Very Nice Set Tall T-shift Transfer Case Shifter Washer Tank Plastic Bag Fold Down Wind Shield with Hood Clip Bumpers – Not original But Shortened to look like Original 66-67 Early 66 Front Grill with “Eyebrows” - VERY Rare Ivory Center Dash Knobs – Some 67s had these as well Door Inserts and Backing Plates – 66-68 Roadster Only Parts – Included, finished, not installed Bulk Head – Also included, finished but not installed Added Options: Power Steering Conversion - Rebuilt Early Bronco Power Steering Box Front Disc Brake Conversion with Warn Premium Hubs and New Wheel Bearings Power Brake Booster with New Master Cylinder – Complete Stainless Brake Lines Correct, Early Doors with Removable Window Frames Ford Duraspark II Electronic Ignition 1’ Body Lift – All early broncos should have this – Looks better, slightly taller tire New 31x10.50x15 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radial Tires - 4 Stockton Wheels – 15x7 with 4” Back Spacing – Powder Coated Wimbledon White and exact replicas of original, just wider. This may sound obvious to most but DO NOT bid if you do not intend to buy. I will take a deposit of $2,000.00 by Paypal promptly within 24 hours after auction ends. Balance will be due within 7 days of end of auction. Shipping: Shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will make myself available to coordinate pick up of Roadster. However, I WILL NOT put this Bronco on an open carrier to be transported a long distance because of the absolutely amazing new condition of the Roadster. Transport has to be enclosed, so please consider this before bidding/purchasing. Thank you and Good Luck Bidding! Additional current pictures have been added. As you can see the Door Frames are removable for a very cool, summer cruiser. As listed before, I also have the Original Finished Door Inserts with Backing Plates. Just remove the Doors and Hinges and install the Backing Plates and Inserts. To give you an idea how Pristine this Bronco is, check out the picture of the passenger side inner fender well showing the shock and tire. The inner side of the fender SHiNES!!! The whole underside is like this but with the Red Primer color. Truely unbelievable!!! Also, have you ever seen an under body as clean as this one??? Hardly even a scratch! On Jul-28-10 at 07:40:40 PDT, seller added the following information: The under-carriage pictures show how absolutely amazing this Riadster is. It is not even dirty and shines. A little dust may show, but thats it! I have not seen a Bronco in this NEW condition for a Very long time. I can see your jaw drop with amazement when it comes off the truck after arrival at your home. As you can see this is not a daily driver. This is a show winner! Correction on the mileage. It is 63000 not 68000. That is original miles!
