Selling with NO RESERVE... This is a 1968 Ford Torino GT 2+2 Fastback. It has a recently built 351 V8 with dual exhaust and an Automatic transmission with a 9' rear end. Built in Kansas City on May 18th 1968 and sold in Dallas this is a clean southern Torino Fastback. The transmission has a B&M shift kit with ratchet shifter, very fun to drive. Motor runs very strong, tight steering, transmission shifts great, good brakes, its a cruiser. The paint is aggressive looking and smooth, this Torino GT is sharp. It was a professional charcoal gray and black two tone, with a cowl hood that is flat and semi flat with black stripes. The charcoal paint is very clean overall (high quality expensive paint) and there is no bubbling anywhere that I can see and very little bodywork ever. The body is super straight and solid overall and the metal lips edges and jams are very clean. Nice hood, trunk, doors and roof. Very straight metal up and down the sides and on the top, overall. Rockers, frame, and floors are clean and solid, very nice overall but not perfect. There is still evidence of the original Ford color paint it was ordered in, Candy Apple Red, in the trunk and other areas as the pics show. Perfect dashboard and gauges and SunPro gauge set for better readings. Newer white letter tires on black wheels. These are hard to find in the fastback and the book is about $20k. I am selling it with NO RESERVE... I have the original rear bumper and brackets, as well as the wheel well trim and other misc emblems that were removed during the restoration. This is not perfect, a nice driver. I have taken so many pics to show the condition the best I can, please take the time to look. Windows roll up and down but driver window needs to be reset into the track properly (its loose). Please make sure the funds are available before bidding.
