Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is a 1964 Dodge Polara 500. The 50th Anniversary Edition. New drivetrain and front suspension have approximately 1500 miles on them. Originally a 383 car. Now has a .040 over 440 remanufactured by S&S Engines- Seattle, Washington with balance of 7 year warranty. 452 heads, hardened seats, three angle valve job. Comp Cams Extreme 268 camshaft with kit, runs on unleaded pump gas. Complete engine specs listed below. Runs cool, a nice clean steet car with great low end grunt. By the way, I do have the original motor. Holley 850 double pumper carb, Edelbrock Performer intake, Carter HP mechanical fuel pump, 3/8” fittings, Mopar electronic ignition, Moroso 7 quart deep sump pan. Original Mopar 426 Street Wedge chrome valve covers and Mopar Performance Parts air cleaner. Original 426 Street Wedge exhaust manifolds. Rebuilt 727 push button torqueflight transmission with TCI Sizzler converter and TCI flex plate, trans cooler. 8.75 rear end with 3.55 gears and rebuilt clutch type sure grip. Air shocks. Dual exhaust out the back in stock location, sounds right. Power steering is responsive not sloppy at all. Good brakes, no fade and won't change lanes if you have to jump on them. New parking brake cable assembly. Complete rebuilt front end. All ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends [inner and outer] new shocks. Car is very tight, excellent comfortable ride. New interior, headliner, package tray, dash rechromed, stock gauges. New Soft Seal weather seals. Dash mounted Autometer Chrome Street Tach. Glass good, new seals. Aftermarket temperature and oil pressure gauges, stock AM radio; looks great. New Polished American Racing Torque Thrust II 15X6 front with 215/75R15 and 15X8 rear with 275/60R15. New rubber. Combination works real well. Truck mounted premium battery, new trunk mat, floors, trunk solid. Undercarriage clean, dry. Real amber glass sealed high beams; clear high beams go with car as well. Bright work excellent, bumpers and bumperettes good. Color is DuPont Sunfast Red Aluma-grip Polyurethane two part, no clear coat. Car presents well; top 25 winner at local shows. Small details make this car stand out. Deep sump pan, dash mounted tach, stance, tire and wheel combination and proper backspacing, bright red with stainless brightwork accents and roofline make for an eye catching period piece. Get's thumbs up; even from non Mopar folks! I thank you for your interest. NOTE: Car was bid to $20,301.OO last listing on Ebay, it did not meet the reserve. I sent that bidder a second chance offer; he declined. If anyone wants the car right now $20,300.00 will do it. Anything else concerning this nice 1964 Dodge call 954 655 3953.
