this chevy 4x4 is absolutely a blast to drive. you cannot help enjoying it. from the moment those flowmasters bellow out it's throaty rumble, reassuring you there is something there that commands respect. and that is just what it is. from it's 33 in alum mudders to it's short wheelbase allowing it unmatched maneuverablity. to it's competition clutch in front of it's manual trans you will be hooked. the transfer case has been rebuilt along with the brakes and frontend, including the balljoints. it sports a holley blue electric pump feeding an edelbrock ontop a 350 smallblock. it has new heavyduty starter and to my surprise this truck doesn't get hot and it gets realively descent fuel mileage. i have driven it on trips 100 miles without any conflicts of any sort. in my book that makes it a pretty good truck considering what it is and its age. on the inside it has brand new black carpet, factory 4x4 stuff with the padding rubber drivers mat made in the carpet. the way it should be with new black seat cover and a mint dashpad, no splits. it has pioneer cd player and a clear noncracked windshield. as far as the a/c goes, everything is there even the hoses, except the compressor. but i do have one for it. it is a used one i removed from another truck and taped up. it should work, however if nothing else it is at least a core. the truck also has a plastic bedliner and i even have a winch for it i think it is a 2,000 pd version. i have never mounted it on the truck, i quess its because it never needed it. this is a truck you can literally hop out of while it is climbing brush and get a beer out of the back, take a whiz, walk around the brush as long as someone is steering it and hop back in it without the motor dying. like i said, if a 4x4 is what you seek you will love this truck. she not only performs good, she looks good thanks to about 6 full size cans of touchup paint you will be receiveing. oh yeah, her name is ENVY. and so will your friends be. i know i hate to part with her. however, i have a 5 yr girl i raise by myself and more bills than i know what to do with. plus it is one of seven other trucks it my fleet. what can i say? i like trucks, and f bodyslyle cars if you want one of those?
