I ran this auction last week and the winning bidder failed to reply to my request to contact me. I waited 3 days, have relisted the item and filed a complaint with ebay. I am tired of this car sitting in my driveway. READ THIS CARFULLY!! This has been my wife’s car for 7 years as we purchased it new. As you can see it has been well cared for. A few weeks back she got into a minor fender bender which caused some damage to the front bumper (Airbag did not deploy). After the incident she was driving home, it began running rough and she heard some knocking and the engine oil light came on. She pulled of the highway and we had the car towed to assess the damage. The front bumper was dented and has been replaced as you see from the photos. The car was then taken to a mechanic to figure out why the oil light came on, and it was determined that the impact had caused sludge to come loose in the bottom of the oil pan, blocking the oil pickup filter, causing low oil pressure and therefore the light. The shop cleaned the oil pan and pickup and refilled with oil. Running in our driveway the engine sounds fine, but we believe damage has been done to the engine and refuse to accept the insurance company’s unwillingness to fix it properly so we are selling the car. We are choosing to sell car “as is” as it sits, understanding that a mechanic or someone looking for a deal on a really nice car understands what the engine has gone through.
