For sale, one used , but very sharp 1997 Chevy S-10 in very good condition. I had this truck checked out by my local mechanic;who issued a clean bill of health for the rebuilt vehicle. Afterward ,we test drove it over one week, before purchase in August of 09. This vehicle has had 3 owners, the second being an insurance company, when truck was purchased after a side impact by the original owner, it was totaled ,purchased by a local dealer and rebuilt with a new door, fender,and any other parts needed to pass state inspection, which it did and was purchased by my son last year. The vehicle has given us no problems , and has been maintained carefully and driven daily. Vehicle has cold air conditioner. There is not a lien on this truck, the title is my son free to transfer with no problems. The title reflects the auto dealer rebuild, by showing "rebuilt vehicle" also "anti-theft, inspection passed" , see photo. My son needs a larger truck for his yard care business. This is a beautiful red truck has a straight clean body. The truck has new tires, starter, brakes , transmission (clutch, etc.) and power bolster. Truck has a very few minor scuffs and pecks associated with this model truck ,but absolutely no major damage, that has not been repaired. The drivers seat has a couple small holes shown. The gas gauge does work, but it's calibration is off about a quarter of a tank, when the gauge shows a quarter of a tank left it is actually empty. The truck gets 23-24 mpg on the highway. The truck has low mileage and appears to have been driven very little by the original owner, mileage is 29539. The vehicle has had a recent service , oil and new filter, air filter and 24 point check. Buyer pickup prefered.
