You are looking at a nice riding and running 1987 Honda GL1200 Goldwing Interstate. 59,500 miles, has good tires and nice seat, woking cb radio, originally had a radio but is gone radio has a cover and has speaker covers, one speaker is still there and has an antenna for the radio. Engine runs like a top after warm up, does not smoke or make any noises and it shifts well through the gears. All guages work and lights, also has wig wag front headlight. Cosmetics: was repainted one time to a Plum crazy purple paint does not look too bad has a few scratches with hand painted stripes. Fiberglass is not cracked anywhere that I see. Had a sidecar on it at one time so there are two holes on the right side where it was mounted(can be filled). Nice windshield. Chrome could use a good clean up, has highway floorboards. Missing one trunklatch on rear trunk. Gas cover lock was removed to have a key made for it and included. Missing ignition cover and one lens for light on right side front fairing. Decent bike all around for the price.I have owned for several weeks and put about 1000 miles on bike. It runs and rides very well uses no oil and does not smoke. Has the heavy duty stator and newer heavy duty timing belts & a new battery. No joy rides, I am currently riding the bike so may have more miles than stated.It is ready to ride or go on a trip! I would like to get a 1500 Goldwing is reason for sale. I also have a very nice 1984 V-65 Magna for sale also, for $2900 also. First bike I sell I will keep the other. The carborators are fine and vehicle runs very well after a short warm up period as any carborated vehicles do, including my v-65. I would not be afraid to jump on this wing and ride anywhere. The only thing I forgot to mention is rear caliper has hung up on me a couple times. I just pumped the rear brake and it released, I think bike sat for a little while before I owned. Cosmetically replace the few parts that are missing, parts are inexpensive and readily available on ebay. Paint to me is decent shape and the color really started to grow on me. The only thing I have done to bike was a good wax job and clean up. The chrome could use a couple more hours of attention. To me clean the chrome, replace the few missing parts add a radio and you will have a nice ride anywhere wing. Keep in mind you are buying as-is as described with anything mechanical things can happen but also keep in mind my 250 plus 100% feedback and you are buying exactly what I am describing. And also the fact that I have drivin wing 1000 miles without a hitch and I would not be afraid to ride anywhere. I have averaged 38-40 MPG during my ownership. Also the deposit can be paid through paypal but I prefer the balance to be paid by cashiers check or cash within 7 days. Paypals fee's are too high.
