1995 CUTLASS SUPREME CONVERTIBLE ------------------------ Here is a an AWESOME vehicle of automotive history. The Cutlass Supreme was the #1 most desirable cars that GM ever made and here is a CONVERTIBLE, the last body model run that they made. This car is in real nice shape for it's year. It was being used as a daily driver so it has had regular service and now is ready to be restored OR just continue to drive it as it is. Everything is here as it was made, no alterations have been made AND please read below information, I will tell you everything about the car. CLEAN CLEAR TITLE * 3.1 V-6 FUEL INJECTED GAS ENGINE * 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with LOCK OUT CONVERTER (for better fuel mileage) * 124,991 MILES * POWER STEERING * POWER BRAKES * POWER WINDOWS * POWER DOOR LOCKS * POWER REMOTE DOOR MIRRORS * TILT STEERING * CRUISE CONTROL * AIR CONDITIONING * DUAL FRONT AIR BAGS * AM - FM - CASSETTE STEREO with 6 SPEAKER PREMIUM SOUND * LEATHER INTERIOR * DUAL FRONT CLIMATE CONTROL ZONES * ALLOY WHEELS --------------------------------------- CARFAX CERTIFIED THE DRIVE TRAIN The 3.1 v6 engine seems great, I have drove this car a few 100 miles so far and still driving it. It's getting 25 miles to a gallon of gas in town, and I have not seen any oil leaks or smoking, ALSO there is no coolant leaks. The 3.1 engine has a reputation for bad head gaskets but this one seems to be a good one or they have been replaced all ready ( failure seems to occur around 80,000 miles) It runs at normal operating temperature as well as normal oil pressure. The AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION shifts out great in all 4 gears and the converter goes into lock out good that LOWERS the RPM for better gas mileage and it's getting 25 miles to a gallon in town. All of the drive train fluids (engine oil, transmission fluid and engine antifreeze) looks clean. SERVICE RECORDS The glove box has a bunch of service records performed on this car over the years. ------------------------------ THE BODY This is one solid vehicle. The body has a couple of small dings where somebody has let their car door go and it bumped into this car and there is a small dent on the drivers door (see pictures below). NO RUST THE PAINT JOB is great and real shinny. There is some scratches and chips that comes normal for a car of this year. This car is still original paint with exception to the driver side fender and the hood. This car would so make a perfect restore project or it looks plenty good enough to continue driving it as it is. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP Has shrunk, it has pulled the side cables loose from the top. The top still goes up and down but true-fully you should figure on replacing it. The rear window also has the top shrunk loose from it, I have made a temporary repair to keep it from leaking rain in. Check the top picture out below. ------------------------- THE INTERIOR Is VERY CLEAN and GOOD SHAPE. The driver seat has some wear on the leather on the edge of the lean back and the bottom section has been replaced, otherwise the rest of the leather interior is in decent shape. It is dry feeling on the top of the back seat. The carpet is in real good shape and it is not worn out. The options seem to work proper and the air conditioning needed charged in which I did charge it, it is the 134 freon, it was ice cold and the next day it was not cold, I suspect it leak out at the compressor front shaft seal as these GM older units all did. ALSO The rear side windows do not go down, when I got the car, one of them worked, now neither do. This is a condition that happens from lack of use, the motors need to be replaced or take them apart and clean them, the brushes on the window motor have gotten corroded. ------------------------- OVERALL You got a lot of car here that drives out great, handles well, operates average and you will be able to buy it at a bargain, right here on ebay, NO RESERVE, so bid to win and don't be a watcher, watchers never win auctions or miss the action at the end. The tires are all matched in size, with about 70% tread remaining on the rear and near new on the front. The brakes stop great, no pulsing or pulling. The exhaust is quite and all there. You WILL NOT BE disappointed with this deal !!!!On Jul-18-10 at 19:20:26 PDT, seller added the following information: The convertible top, above I mentioned the side cables pulled loose, I have got a bunch of emails, sorry, when I mentioned the cables I always disclose everything about what I sell, THIS CAR is out of the southwest, Austin, TX. where it gets hot weather seems like all the time, the top went down and parked in the garage and then the car would get drove on nice days, call it lazy the top works just fine. The top does not leak, it is not ripped however it is the original top and the heat seems to have shrunk the top while it was relaxed while to top was down and merely the side cables have pulled loose from the top, the top is power and it goes up and down as normal, it seals up. I mentioned replacing the top, because this car is in really nice shape and if a keeper, I would figure on replacing the top so that it would be as nice as the rest of the car for cosmetic reasons. This car once again is out of the southwest and no rust is a plus here.
