I have used it for hauling straw, animal feed and lumber on and off all winter and she is just a good old work horse and she has an ORIGINAL 88,600 MILES.....PA tilted and docum,ented with actual miles!! Haven't used her much in the past 6 months so the boss said get rid of it....it's been on our books too long......1986 Ford F-250 3/4 ton Extended Cab 4-wheel drive, long bed (8 foot), 5.8L-351 V8 gas engine, 3 speed Automatic transmission (heavy duty without overdrive), power steering and brakes and has cold/working air conditioning!! Also has sliding rear window, front and rear bench seats, dual fuel tanks, cab lights, brushguard, bugshield, running boards and single rear wheels. Truck also has the factory upgraded Heavy duty suspension/spring package, class III hitch and tow/brake box package and lockout hubs. Tires all have decent tread left. Interior is just fair....very useable and comfortable but just plain vinyl/rubber with typical wear, tear, cracks and age but good shape overall. Body is fair....Bed sides/wheel wells have rust and some bondo. No tailgate. Some rust starting to show on cab corners. Floors have rust through, mainly where floors meet inner rockers/cab area....this is the worst area on this truck. Cab mounts are solid though. Solid frame, rear spring hangers have been replaced with new ones about a year ago (most common weak area on Fords), solid doors, front fenders, bed floor, all good glass, etc..... Paint is faded/weathered but still presentable. Truck starts up well and is a really strong runner. No engine noise or smoke noticed and she idles good once warmed up (carbuerated, not fuel injected) and revs up strong with no hesitations. Very strong and powerful driveline!! Does have an exhaust leak at the collector donuts or manifold....does not sound loud or bad at all but has it. Has recently new exhaust from muffler back. Transmission and 4x4 all work properly and like they are supposed to. Truck runs, drives, handles and works great overall.....I have personally driven and used a few times over the winter and she is a strong worker and nice driving old truck!! Look folks, it is a used work truck!!....The good points: Great/strong driveline, cold a/c, low original/documented miles, heavy duty 4x4. The bad: Has rust and exhaust leak. Great truck to fix up/re-do or just use it as it is for a work/farm truck, hunting camp truck or ????? Strong runner, nice driver with 88k original miles and cold a/c + 4x4!!
