The car has a few small imperfections in the headliner. I purchased a new OEM PORSCHE headliner but have been too busy to install. It will be included! Most convertibles don't even have a headliner any way. Not something that is even noticible to most people. I will send you a picture of headliner upon request. The only other visual flaw is a tiny rock chip on front bumper the size of a pea. It has been touched up and nearly impossible to notice. Engine is tuned. Compression is virtually as it was from the factory! Does not burn oil. No sign of oil leak. For added performance the A/C condenser has been removed but is available and can be re-installed if you wish. The car looks like it is NEW! Anyone you take for a ride will tell you car looks as if it is new. Be prepared to get a few thumbs up every time you go for a drive. The total mileage that the car has driven, including before and after the restoration/conversion is 55,200 PAMPERED miles. This ultra low milage is unheard of on a 98' Porsche never mind an 88'. Considering this is a bullet proof Porsche 911 3.2 litre 6 cylinder engine it just barely broken in. Although it has been started weekly, it has only been driven about 1200 miles over the past two years and only a few thousand miles over the past 5 years and this is why I am selling. Involved in a new business I just don't use it enough and hope it finds a good home where it can be enjoyed more! This car has been very closely examined and it has NOT had any damage. It has a Clean Car Fax report which is the most reliable reporting service & which GUARANTEES Car is clean and without any issues. It qualifies for the CarFax buy back guarantee! The overall rating from AutoCheck is higher than most and should be near perfect however, they are not as thorough as CarFax. Since this car has had a complete ground up restoration Autocheck can not differentiate this body work from being in an accident. So they apply a generic "trouble" flag. Yet, even though they would give same flag had the car hag a dent repaired at a licensed body shop, since body shops must relay VIN details to state for ALL bodywork performed, they still confirm what is most important that this has a clean title and non rebuilt title. Beware of "saving" a few dollars from other sellers only to be burdened with lots of problems! This beauty was part of a collection and only driven on sunny summer days. This turbo look wide body conversion started as a 1988 MINT condition Porsche Carrera 911 cabriolet in the same guards red color. All new parts were installed exactly in the same way as the factory. No rivets, screws, bolts, nuts, etc. The entire body has been painted to or above factory standards and has rust proofed. No expense spared! Watch out for bolt on conversions! When this body was painted every single item was removed and painted individually, and wet sanded between coats, All new OEM rubber beading added. Undercoating (rustproofing) applied. Everything is new down to the emblems.
