Offered for auction: MGBGT, built in April 1967, chassis number GHN3L120495. Although this car comes with a "certificate of dismantling," which is the same as a title but with a test involved at least here in Nevada. It will not prevent the next owner to title and register this car. Despite the description on the title this BGT is in a remarkable condition, i.e. the body. It is straight with absolutely no rust in the chassis rails or any panels. No accident damage can be detected, and panels are surprisingly straight. There is one questionable area though, the front fender below the chrome side rim in front of the driver door has been filled. I never tried to find out to what extend the damage went. It is my assumption there was parking damage or something similar, which was filled over and repainted. This is perfect a typical desert car with a good body, but anything soft and perishable has indeed perished. The engine turns, but otherwise I do not know much about this car. The brake and clutch hydraulics are dried up, and need to be gone through. The headliner is missing, but I have a perfect one in the garage if you are so interested. The wheels are in excellent condition, and the tires I have never had to pump up. As you can see the "stance" of the vehicle is just right. The tail end is in the right position, as is the front. These early BGT's are arguably the best of the breed. I ran a 1970 BGT for years with the nest balanced chassis of them all, i.e. in standard form. I will assist the buyer with shipping, but would prefer a local, non commercial, pick-up, due to non running condition of the car. This car is sold "as is, where is" with no warranty actual or implied to any extend. Payment needs to be made in full within seven (7) days from the end of auction. Payment can be made through PayPal, wire transfer or money order/cashiers check. If not paid in full within the spoecified time limt the deposit will be non refundable and the sale void. This MGBGT has been patiently waiting in my barn. I have decided pare my collection down, andto concentrate on my MGC's and MGB V8 which are all daily drivers.
