It is powered by a 1.6 liter 16 valve DOHC engine and driven by a five speed manual transmission. The engine uses no oil and doesn’t smoke. The clutch doesn’t slip and works properly. The transmission shifts smoothly and has no problems. About 500 miles ago brand new tires were installed and the car received a four wheel alignement. About 20 miles ago a brand new muffler was installed. The A/C worked fine last summer it just needs a recharge. The car drives and stops straight. A friend purchased the car in November of 2008 and drove it every day for his 60 mile commute. About a month ago the starter went out and he purchased a new vehicle so this one is for sale. It will not start with the key, however it starts very easily by popping the clutch. It also has an exhaust manifold leak that would be easy to fix when replacing the starter. This is a very reliable strong running car that only needs a starter. He had a Clarion CD player installed that is iPod/iPhone ready. The car has manual window and door locks. As you can clearly see in the pictures it has some rust on the lower rocker panels and wheel wells. The paint is faded and delaminating on the roof. The interior is not perfect but has no major issues either. The car does not have a headliner. This would make a great first car. No money is owed on this car and I have a clear title in hand.
