1977 Chevy Monte Carlo with swivle buckets and center console, tilt steering column and ice cold air conditioning. This has been my daily driver for a few months now and I believe it can be driven on a long trip. It has been driven an a couple road trips within the last few months, one of them on the interstate for over 150 miles. The car was painted a year ago but it was done by an amature and not a very high quality job. A typical 20 footer but still presentable. It's a great daily driver that gets some attention but isn't a really expensive car that I had to worry about every time I walked away from it or drove in heavy traffic. If you want a really nice car that's in perfect condition than move on or plan on spending some money on a resto, this is simply a decent running, driving old car that looks good and can be driven now. There is some rust in the rear floor pans, the rst of the car is pretty solid. All the lights work, doors and trunk open as they should, windows roll down, etc. The cruise control was working but the cable started sticking so I unhooked it from the carb linkage so it wouldn't keep the throttle open. I believe it will work with a new cable.
