Very smooth driving and solid on the road. The 1990s were the best years for Ford trucks and everyone knows it. I have had 4 different Ford pick-ups over the years and this one is a gem! They never disappoint you and really do hold their value better than Dodge or Chevy. They just always were a cut above and over-built. Very clean inside and out with very low miles (109K) for the year. Brakes are massive and in good shape! Heavy Duty floating style rear axle. No issues. The 460/7.5L V8 is known for torque, durability, and reliability. This is the later version Fuel Injected Model. It is a good old push-rod V8 engine and is very easy to work on, has low cost repairs and parts replacement! No mechanical issues known on the engine or transmission. No oil leaks. These engines run forever. Talk to anyone. Recent new spark plugs, oil change, hoses/belts. You will get 15 to 16 MPG on the open road unloaded. 10 MPG loaded. Regular Gas. Basic, bomb proof drive line. I towed my race car and trailer (over 5000 lbs.) with no sweat. Over the Grapevine to Buttonwillow many times. You do not want the 5.8L/351 engine in these big trucks. It will simply not do the job. With the big block 7.5L/460, you could pull a house off its' foundation! Effortless towing. Smooth, quiet, and stable ride.
