Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1966 Honda CB160 Cafe Racer motorcycle. What a cool bike! You will not find another vintage bike as cool as this! The bike has just been completely built from the ground up. What has been done is listed below. Almost every piece has been professionally power coated gloss black at AFI(AFIpowder.com)The rims and brake lever were professionally De-Chromed at D&D Chrome in Piqua, Ohio. The tank and seat have been painted with base coat/clear coatAll wiring has been concealed in custom copper tubing. Everything on the bike works great and it runs like a top. like almost all vintage hondas it sounds really mean! The bike has a comfortable riding position for me (5'8" 200 lb.). This Honda really gets it! It is fast and fun to ride but be prepared to have atlas a 10 minute conversation everywhere you stop! Every time I go anywhere I get a lot of middle aged to older guys asking me "Is that an old 305?". Please note that while this is a beautiful bike, the majority of the parts are 50+ years old and will not be perfect! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks for looking at my auction! James On Jun-24-10 at 10:42:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I do reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Also I will be posting a video shortly of the bike running and being ridden so everyone can get an idea of what it sounds like. ThanksĀ  JamesOn Jun-24-10 at 12:38:29 PDT, seller added the following information: On Jun-25-10 at 07:57:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I would be happy to assist with shipping on my end. I would not be opposed to transporting the bike up to 50 miles or so to drop it off at a shipping location. Or work with a shipping company of your choice. A NOTE ABOUT THE MILEAGE. The title says 27,000 miles--so that is what I put on the auction. The orignal odometer was on the bike and hooked up when I bought it and it says around 15k. I believe the bike probably sat in about 10 garages over the years and every time it exchanged hands the people added 2k in miles to the title. I would be happy to show this to the winning bidder or i could post a photo of the odometer. Let me know if anyone has any questions. Thanks for looking, JamesOn Jun-27-10 at 09:24:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I have noticed some bidders with zero feedback are bidding on the bike. I am not trying to be unreasonable but please contact me before the auction ends or I will have to delete your bid. Thanks JamesOn Jun-27-10 at 16:31:33 PDT, seller added the following information:
