Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1967 Impala Super Sport. I bought this car about three years ago from someone who was hoping to restore it but due to a divorce, the car ended up sitting in a garage for about 20 yrs. I did a year long resto on the car, repairing typical rust problems. I replaced the entire trunk floor and did all the necessary body work, and repainted the car its original color. The car was born with a 283 and two speed power glide trans. It now has a 454 and three speed transmission. I also replaced the original 14" wheels with 15" rallys new BF Goodrich tires, the car is a real super sport (not cloned) and I did not part with any of the original parts. All originals will go with the car if sold. Including 283 engine 2 speed power glide trans, original drive shaft, 14" rims and hubcaps, etc. I dont know if the 283 was original to the car or not, but it was the engine that was in the car when I bought it. Its a tired old engine that needs to be rebuilt. Basically, what I did was make the car, a great dependable, fast, fun runner. I also bought a complete interior kit and only installed the seat covers, rug, and rear passage tray. I did not install the headliner or door panels, there was really no need to. Those parts will also go with the car. I am selling this car only because I am nearing completion on another car restoration, and I need more play money. The car will be sold as is and will need to be picked up from my property within 15 days of sale. I am putting a reserve on the car, however, I may decide to lift to highest bidder (?) If you are really interested in this car, I suggest you call me for a one on one phone conversation, and/or look at or have someone else look at the car for you. It is very important to me that whoever buys the car will be happy with it. So much that I would not hesitate to let the high bidder off the hook and simply keep the car if they are in any way disappointed in my car or have a problem with my description of the car. However, once the car leaves my property, it will be considered final sale. (How Fair is that?) Thanks, Bill (845) 496-3257
