For sale is a nice driving Windstar. Has 146,000 miles(still driven a couple times a week so mileage will vary slightly) on the van, but had the transmission replaced at 115,000 miles, so it's got a lot of miles left. Regular maintenance always done and had a full tuneup at the same time as the transmission. Altenator was replaced last fall. Has removable middle captains chairs and rear bench for an impressive cargo area. A/C is nice and cold and heat works great, with separate controls in the rear. All in all a nice van. Some minor issues include what I've found to be typical of Windstars: ABS light comes on occasionally, in the sliding door contacts I eliminated a connection because of issues with the dome light staying on, so the power lock doesn't work, but the lights now work properly. I chose the simple route to not have to worry about a dead battery, there's lots of info on the web about this issue if someone wished to do more work and return it to normal, but it's not a concern right now. Lastly, the check engine light comes on, but doesn't effect driveability. I found and fixed what had shown as the problem on a code reader but I haven't cleared the code since. Gas mileage and driveability have not changed so I haven't worried about it. Some minor and typical Ford rust on body, but underneath on the structuaral parts it still looks very good. Tires have about 30-35% of their tread left, about a year in my opinion. It's actually quite good in the snow even with just front wheel drive. The van is located in Hudson, WI, which is 20 minutes from St. Paul, MN. I would be willing to deliver wtihin 50 miles for free, otherwise I could work out a fee for gas beyond that.
