This is a pretty good old Studebaker. Arriving here from its lifelong home in California just a couple months ago. it is not rusted like so many from the era. It starts right up and drives down the road nicely. The engine is the very durable 259 and it is a 3 speed stick with overdrive that works--most of the time .I have been enjoying Studebakers since 1964 and my preference has always been the V8 cars --they perform quite respectably and get good mileage. The previous owner put in seats and a new headliner but never got to the door panels . I have all four for patterns . I have driven it several hundred miles and it has always performed well. I dont make my living selling cars and the reserve is low so you have a pretty fair chance of getting in the classic car game inexpensively.
