1982 Honda XL500R

Honda 1982 XL500R Fuel Tank. Excellent to Very Good Condition. This is a extra fuel tank that I had for a bike that I sold. It came with the bike when I purchased it, and I never needed it. I never asked, but I'm quite sure that the guy I bought the bike from got this one used just in case he ever needed it. It is NOT an NOS tank. It did come off a bike at some point. There are a couple of spots towards the back where the seat rubbed on the metal. This tank has no bends, creases, or dents whatsoever. The inside is in pretty good condition. There is some very minor rust spotting inside, but the inside is about 85-90% clean. I think that the little bit of rust would clean up very easily. The paint is in very good condition, although there are a couple of minor rust spots towards the back. I dont think you'll find a tank for this bike in much better shape than this one. There is no petcock included. I can send additional pictures if anyone needs to see anything else. Feel free to contact me Ive listed the shipping as $30, but this is just an estimate. Depending on where I need to send it, if its less, I'll only charge what it costs me. Same if it costs more, but I cant imagine it being much higher than this. Ive gotten myself burned a few times on some shipping costs.
