My wife and I are the 2nd owners of this SUV, and we are located 20 minutes south of downtown Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC. We purchased the vehicle from a used Acura/Honda dealership, and it was thoroughly inspected at that time. We have no children and have treated the SUV very well. Synthetic oil has been used, and only premium fuel has been put in the tank. We have purchased hundreds of dollars in Acura accessories just this year to add to the vehicle. The only reason we are selling the vehicle is that both of our employment has been reduced to part time and we can no longer afford to keep the SUV. The Acura factory powertrain warranty is good unti 70,000 miles. This vehicle was first put into service in summer of 2008 so is just 2 years old now. This has always been a Southern car, and since we've owned it, it has only seen snow one time (the 2 inches we get once a year). If you're looking at this, you most likely know about the MDX. In 2007 Acura updated the body style to the current design, and Consumer Reports and other magazines have selected the Acura MDX as a top pick for safety, performance, and most importantly, reliability. When we shopped around, we looked at and drove every SUV on the market, and the MDX was our favorite. The Lexus RX is the only other that I would consider, and my wife didn't like the way it looked and was laid out.
