Vehicle Detail

Car is in great running condition, I am the second owner of the car. This car was used in 1996 for One Lap of America. Turbo system has been converted to non-sequential operation to simplify maintenance and honestly I prefer the current set-up. Boost takes slightly longer to build but it does so very strongly. Car has cat-back and a downpipe. Thats it for mods. The car is still being driven some but as it sits it has 49,406 miles. - Car has original paint, (it does have normal wear for a 17 year old car). The only issue i have with the exterior is a round aluminum patch on the boot right in front of the spoiler. I personally have no idea why this was done and not fixed correctly, the original owner did not want to repaint the boot lid. (something fell on it) Pop up headlights have been replaced but i have the originals to go with the car. I also have the factory fog lights (they are removed in the pictures). Tires are in good shape, more that 50% tread at least. -Interior is like new, seats are in great shape, no rips or wear marks, carpet is great. The only changes to the interior are 4 point harnesses as the seat belts have been removed, battery has been relocated to the passenger side storage bin (Optima yellow top). Aftermarket boost and water temp gauge in a center speaker mount gauge pod. Factory Bose stereo system is still in place ( it works though its 17 years old and could use updating). -Engine runs strong, oil changed regularly, original airbox with k&n air filter. Max boost in the current setup is 7lbs. When the non sequential mod was done the restrictor pill was left in the wastegate actuator to prevent boost creep/overboost. Car should have a Apexi Power FC to control fuel before increasing boost pressure this is why the restrictor pill was left in. I do have all parts to convert the car back to a sequential turbo setup and they will go with the car. Nothing was cut or damaged when removed. All factory wiring and relays were relocated to under the headlights to keep electrical components away from as much heat as possible. Jacobs Rotarymaster ignition setup is installed along with a fuel pressure gauge where the factory cruise control used to be. Anti- lock brake light is on, I have not looked into the issue, car stops well regardless. -I purchased the car from a local auto mechanic that ordered the car in 1992. It has been well taken care of and when not in use stored in a garage under a car cover. I am the second owner. I am only selling the car due to the fact that I need to get rid of one car and this is the one that gets the least amount of use. It is a very good car and I would love to keep it but space is limited. - Feel free to ask any questions as I am sure i missed some important details. My email is Ka1ondon@yahoo.com That goes to my phone so i will answer questions promptly. Or you can call 540-578-1240 Thanks.
