1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible, 312 c.i., automatic transmission. This Tbird has been partially restored, garage kept and used as a daily driver. As an antique cars collector, I love this car but need to sell it in order to make money to support other personal projects. When I bought it one year ago, car was running OK and repainted but needed attention. In addition to several improvements and fixes, I replaced most of the interior, such as dashboard, seat covers and carpet. I also changed the trunk mat and trunk lid seal. I removed the engine to replace the front transmission seal and did a major tune-up, including new gaskets, timing chain, spark plug wires, distributor etc. Vehicle runs and drives great. Engine is strong and doesn’t smoke. Transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes are new. Good tires. All gauges work, including tachometer. Original clock and Town & Country radio are present but do not work. Painting and body are nice but show some imperfections. All original chrome in nice condition. Undercarriage is solid and clean, front floors have been replaced and exhaust is very good. Hard top and tonneau cover but no soft top. Odometer reads 44,469 but original miles are unknown. The dataplate reads: Serial number: D7FH342023 (D = 245 HP 4-barrel 312 c.i.; 7 = 1957; F = Dearborn; H = Thunderbird; 342023 consecutive unit number) 40 = Thunderbird; E = Colonial white body; E = Colonial white hardtop ; XH = Trim, red interior; 26 G = July 26th , Transmission 3 = 3 speed automatic, Axle 1 = Standard rear axle A shown on the pictures, I have a copy of the original vehicle invoice and a clear & current Florida title on my name.
