I am offering a Ford Model A Sport Coupe that I have restored. The car runs very well and its fun to drive and it brings out smiles from those you pass or those who pass you, but I find that I had more fun restoring than driving the car. The exterior of the vehicle is black, but I believe the original color was a type of teal, painted with marine primer and paint, areas could use a rework if you plan to present in antique car shows. I have added the following to the car: electric wiper, directional signals (non-invasive, no holes drilled), wingding mirror, etc. All wood replaced has been treated with a wood preservative to guard against rot. The roof, interior of the car (foam insulation has been placed behind the upholstery where possible to reduce sound , and any missing parts have been replaced with material from Mike's, Mac's, and Lebaron Bonny. The seats are vinyl in excellent condition. There are period tools, extra parts, an extra spare tire cover (black), trunk rack, a battery minder, and a technalon cover for the car. The only thing I couldn't bring myself to cover was the roof bow - the oak was beautiful. Since the speedometer had been opened I replaced the worn part - as far as I know it works (tested it with a drill) - the cable although replaced doesn't seem to function (it may be the wrong one). The sport coupes were kind of funny - they were totally built by Ford - so they are not always by the book - but should be an easy fix. The battery is currently not charging and will have to be replaced. Shipping and scheduling of shipping is up to the buyer - When I purchased the car it was transported by Nu'De'Zire Transport Royal Balm Beach Florida (561-422-1056) arranged by Rebel Yell Transport 972-264-3977. I do not know if these companies are still in business. Deposit of $500 within 72 hours of sale through PayPal. Full payment to be made prior to pickup. Pay Pal desired, however, I will except a personnal check - it will have to clear prior to pickup, usually 10 days to 2 weeks. I have lowered the price - The reason is a common one now with baby boomers- about a year and a half ago my wife passed away. It is now time for me to reorganize/simply my life. You benefit - I have decided to sell it, it cost me 8000 before I repaired the car + shipping, + parts, +,+,+ etc. If anyjone is interested I also have a House on two lots on the Outer Banks for sale about a block from the ocean. As I said about Baby Boomers local buyer developed heart problems. There is NO RESERVE so high bidder wins.
