1986.5 Porsche 928S A real collectors model, this car has all 1987 model year upgrades on the original body style. It is a rare 5 spd ordered with exceptional factory options including: lsd differential body side molding delete rear A/C “turbo” deep bolster/ 9 position/ leather seats Aftermarket upgrades include: Fikse FM10 forged alloy wheels Weltmeister sway bar Eiback coil over springs Koni adjustable shocks and struts AutoAuthority chip Custom stainless exhaust “big red” Brembo calipers from ’91 GTS model tuner/amp/speakers short throw shifter MOMO “F1 Concept” steering wheel "Accept No Substitute" This car was meticulously cared for by previous owner and myself. I have over $20k in receipts from just the past 10 years! Major maintenance items, including timing belt, completed at 112k miles. The A/C belt is not on so I cannot attest to its operating condition though I have reciepts showing the entire system was recently replaced. I just put in a new clutch and new front brakes 3 weeks ago. TLC issues are: there are cracks in front fog light lenses, minor blemishes in paint (otherwise a 10 from 10 ft away), some cracks in leather (dash and seats) and passenger side view mirror is missing glass plate. The car is amazing to drive; slightly lowered and firmer than stock, it still absorbs bumps and remains comfortable but handles like a train on rails. It has more torque and horsepower than most of us know what to do with. Shifting is smooth and precise. As the Porsche engineers themselves proclaimed, this car is "the best kept secret in the automobile industry."
